Living in a military city like San Antonio, the Memorial Day holiday takes on even more significance since we remember our military personnel who gave their lives while serving their country.
Usually we celebrate Memorial Day with family and friends barbecuing by the swimming pool, and maybe enjoying an ice cold beverage, like one of our 20 Refresh Mocktails for Summer. Many other people will go to the lake, or a local park.

You got me at San An. My son was stationed at Fort Sam. He misses San An so bad. I’m going to make the Mexican street corn. My son had it when he was in NYC and loved it. No matter how old your kids are it’s still nice to cook for them from time to time. Thank you for the recipes and enjoy your weekend.
