Oreo Fluff, or Oreo Fluff Dessert Salad, is a sweet and creamy no bake dessert salad, or cookie salad, with only 5 ingredients!
This Oreo Salad is super easy to make and very popular at picnics, potlucks, and parties, or just because.
What Is Oreo Fluff?
Oreo Fluff is a dessert salad, more specifically a cookie salad, and to be really accurate, an Oreo Cookie Salad. I know that seems like an oxymoron, but it is delicious, and has become one of our favorite Dessert Recipes. This recipe is a super easy Oreo fluff recipe.

With pudding, Cool Whip, Oreos and mini marshmallows, it is a dessert everyone will love. Why is it call Oreo Fluff? The texture of this Oreo Fluff Salad recipe is creamy and, well, fluffy.
It tastes similar to Cookies and Cream Ice Cream except it is lighter and fluffier like a mousse. If you like my Cookies and Cream Milkshake, No Bake Oreo Cheesecake, or Cookies and Cream Cookies, then you’ll love this Oreo Fluff.
What Makes This Oreo Fluff Recipe Work?
It is a tried and true recipe with only 5 ingredients and no baking. You can make it ahead of time and refrigerate it until you are ready to serve. There is no baking required so there is no reason to heat up the house.
I changed up the flavor of the pudding to use Cheesecake pudding so it will taste like an Oreo Cheesecake. Furthermore, I included step by step photos to make the recipe as easy to follow as possible. Unlike other recipes that have cream cheese, this recipe uses Cheesecake Instant Pudding instead to make the recipe super easy.
Ingredients For Oreo Fluff
Only 5 simple ingredients are needed to make this recipe.
- About 30 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1 (3.4-ounce) package Cheesecake instant pudding
- 1 (8-ounce) size Cool Whip (or other refrigerated whipped topping)
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
How To Crush Oreos
- Option 1: Use a blender or food processor and hit pulse until the Oreos are crushed.
- Option 2: Place the cookies in a plastic zip top bag and use a rolling pin to roll over the bag to crush the cookies.
How To Make Oreo Fluff
Empty the (3.4 ounces) box of cheesecake instant pudding mix into a large bowl. (If you can’t find cheesecake instant pudding, then use vanilla or white chocolate instant pudding flavors.)
Pour in 2 cups of milk with the instant pudding mix.
Stir until it is thick and smooth.
Fold in an (8-ounce) container of refrigerated whipped topping (like Cool Whip) with the pudding mixture. Stir until combined.
Add the crushed Oreo cookies and stir until the cookies are mixed throughout the mixture.
Add in 2 cups of mini marshmallows and stir until they are evenly distributed throughout the Oreo Fluff.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Variations of Oreo Fluff
- Try adding balls of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and crushed Oreos.
- Try changing up the pudding mix flavor for a different variation. For example, try a different pudding flavor like instant vanilla pudding mix, white chocolate pudding mix, or chocolate pudding mix.
Can I Make Oreo Fluff Ahead Of Time?
Yes, in fact this recipe is perfect for making ahead of time. If you are taking it to a potluck or picnic, make it the night before and keep it in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
