Honey Balsamic Mustard Chicken requires only 5 ingredients, and makes a quick and easy, delicious, healthy, low carb weeknight dinner that you can have on the table in less than 30 minutes.
You may have noticed lately we have indulged in several sweet treats, such as our Mini M&M Cookies and Moist Layer Chocolate Cake. To change things up a bit, today I wanted to share a delicious but super easy weeknight chicken dinner called Honey Balsamic Mustard Chicken.
With both Mr. Flavor Mosaic and I working full time, we need not only quick and easy dinners, but ones that are super flavorful, healthy, low carb and delicious! What gives this chicken dinner its flavor is the new Maille® Honey Dijon Mustard with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, which includes a tangy balsamic vinegar together with their honey dijon mustard. And for anyone with allergies, this mustard is nut-free, dairy-free, egg-free, fish and shellfish-free.-free, dairy-free, egg-free, fish and shellfish-free
I almost always have chicken tenders on hand because they make smaller portion sizes than standard sized chicken breasts, which is great for the two of us, and they cook faster than regular sized chicken breasts, which is perfect for a quick weeknight meal.
The boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders provide a blank canvas your favorite seasonings and sauce, in this case, the Maille® Honey Dijon Mustard with Balsamic Vinegar adds that fantastic flavor.
I just sprinkled the chicken with freshly cracked black pepper and added some garlic powder. You could add salt. We don’t add any additional salt. Then I mixed a little olive oil with the Honey Dijon Mustard with Balsamic Vinegar, and drizzled on the chicken. (OK. I probably glopped it on.) I recommend brushing it on the chicken.Then you could either grill or bake the chicken. We baked it for about 15 minutes, and dinner was ready, and tasted fantastic! Next time, for a change, I think I may marinade the chicken and grill it. That would be just as quick and give it that great grill flavor.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Maille Honey Dijon Mustard with Balsamic Vinegar
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Sprinkle the chicken breast tenders with salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix together olive oil and mustard.
- Brush the mustard mixture on each of the chicken tenders.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
