Bang Bang Chicken with Quinoa is a quick and easy stir fry with a Bang Bang sauce, like that of Bonefish Grill, with Sriracha, Sweet Thai Chili Sauce, mayonnaise and other ingredients served over gluten-free quinoa.

My blogging friend, Shelby, is on vacation this week, and she graciously allowed me to write a guest post on her blog while she is enjoying her vacation!   I love Shelby’s blog, The Life and Loves of Grumpy’s Honeybunch, with all the fantastic recipes, beautiful photos and the funny stories about her family and furkids!

Shelby has many healthier recipes adapted from Cooking Light magazine, so I decided to do a recipe that was mostly healthy, but still delicious with a little kick.  The result is Bang Bang Chicken with Quinoa.

Bang Bang Chicken with Quinoa

Bang Bang Chicken with Quinoa is a quick and easy chicken stir fry dish with a Bang Bang sauce, like that from Bonefish Grill,  made with Sriracha, Sweet Thai Red Chili Sauce, honey, mayonnaise, and vinegar.  It is served over quinoa instead of rice, which is a high protein, gluten free alternative to rice.

This Bang Bang Chicken with Quinoa is a great weeknight recipe because it is so quick and easy to make, yet is suitable for company.  Since it uses quinoa instead of rice, it keeps it healthy.

Head on over to Shelby’s blog, The Life and Love of Grumpy’s Honeybunch, for the recipe for Bang Bang Chicken with Quinoa.  While you are there browse her extensive list of amazing recipes.

If you like this recipe, try my Salsa Chicken, a super easy spicy Tex-Mex / Mexican chicken dish.

Another spicy, healthy chicken dish you might like is my Cajun Blackened Chicken.

Another healthy side dish that would go well with this Bang Bang Chicken and Quinoa is  my Oven Roasted Asparagus.
