The great things about slow cooking the chicken or Chuck Roast is that you can use the stock from it to make a soup to stretch your dollars more by getting more meals out of the chuck roast or chicken.
Whether you make a soup, or casserole, or salad, you are getting more meals from one chuck roast or one roast chicken.
