Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

Sing along with me: “Oh the weather outside is frightful!”  You know the song. Across a large swath of the country, the weather really is frightfully cold right now.

The best thing to do is to stay inside with a nice fire and curl up with a good book and a cup of this delightful Peppermint White Hot Chocolate.

With the Christmas Tree up, the holiday lights hung, and the rest of the house decorated for the holidays, it finally feels like Christmas.

  • Stir in white chocolate chips and stir until melted.
  • Add in peppermint extract and SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener, or sugar, or sweetener of your choice.
  • Garnish with whipped topping and crushed peppermints.
  • Serve hot and Enjoy!

Pro Recipe Tips

To reduce the sugar in this sweet drink I reduce the usual amount of white chocolate chips. Don’t worry it still has lots of that white chocolate flavor.  Then I add SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener to sweeten it more.

What To Serve With Peppermint Hot Chocolate

  • No Bake Peppermint Cheesecake – Serve with this cool and creamy Peppermint Cheesecake.

SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener tastes great and has no calories.  It is made with stevia extract which leaves no bitter aftertaste. This means the Peppermint White Hot Chocolate bursts with sweet minty flavor and no aftertaste.

I love to add whipped cream and crushed peppermint candy as a garnish but it is delicious even without that.

Then enjoy a sweet, creamy, minty white hot chocolate!

Wouldn’t the white chips be plenty sweet without the stevia? There is already sugar in the chips. So avoiding sugar isn’t even an option really.
