This Easy Homemade Greek Seasoning Mix recipe is a budget friendly option to add flavor to your food without having to buy expensive packages of seasoning mixes.
Have you tried Greek Seasoning? It is similar to Italian Seasoning but even more flavorful, in my opinion. Sorry Italians.
The problem is if you buy Greek Seasoning, it can be expensive. Plus, as with many seasoning mixes, it may include additional preservatives and salt or other artificial ingredients or fillers that you may not want.
I first made this seasoning mix for a Greek Porterhouse Steak. However, it would also be awesome to use on Greek Gyros, Greek Salad, or my Greek Potato Salad.
Once I made it the first time, I made a second batch to keep on hand for various recipes. It makes an excellent all-purpose seasoning as well.
I must warn you though that if you make a batch of this, you may have an overwhelming feeling to invite all your family, extended family and friends over for dinner and have everyone talk at once and talk with their hands! Just kidding!
Once you make this Easy Homemade Greek Seasoning Mix, be sure to store it in an airtight container.
