I recently returned from a trip to Florida to attend the Food Wine Conference in Orlando and got to meet lots of great blogger friends, as well as see my family that lives in Florida. Another bonus of the visit was eating all that abundant produce and seafood that is Fresh from Florida!

My Florida family is so lucky to have access to fresh Florida produce all year long.  However, right now the stores are full of Fresh From Florida produce, such as blueberries, tomatoes, sweet corn, watermelon, and fresh from Florida Seafood, which is great for outdoor picnics and barbecues this time of year. I love visiting Florida in the summer because not only do I get to see my family but I get to share in all this fresh produce!

I can tell you from my visit to Florida that the blueberries were bursting with sweet flavor and the tomatoes were fresh and juicy, and in my opinion, there is nothing better than the taste of the fresh sweet corn from Florida. It is a night and day difference from canned corn.

If you need some inspiration for what to do with all this abundant fresh produce, allow me to share some of my favorite recipes, starting with some of my favorite blueberry recipes.

FRESH FROM FLORIDA SEAFOOD

Fresh from Florida Seafood is some of the best and freshest seafood you can buy. You haven’t lived until you have tried Florida Shrimp!

Florida Gulf Shrimp is the sweetest tasting shrimp you will find. I am a huge shrimp fan, and I love it prepared all different ways: fried, grilled, barbecued, you name it. Nothing beats Florida shrimp!

Here are a couple of my favorite recipes for shrimp!

    Michelle,
Thank you so much for all the links regarding Florida produce. I spend time in Florida in the winter and I’ll tell you the produce that is available in the supermarkets and the prices are not as good as the choices in Philadelphia supermarkets. I can’t wait to check the links- perhaps I don’t know the best shopping places for produce. Love all of your fabulous photos and recipes. Visiting from Bloglovin
