Berry Chocolate Mocha Mousse Dessert is a delicious layering of dark chocolate brownie base topped with a creamy chocolate mocha mousse layer and a sweet, tart cranberry mousse layer. It pairs well with the Gallo Family Vineyards Holiday Red Blend wine.

Berry Chocolate Mocha Mousse Dessert

I love the holidays……the lights, the sounds, the music…..all of it; and best of all, getting together with family and friends, some of whom I may only see once a year.

Berry Chocolate Mocha Mousse Dessert

For years one of my good friends had a Christmas cookie exchange party for all her girlfriends. No husbands and no kids, just the girlfriends. It was a fun time to get together and exchange cookie recipes and taste test them, of course. Over the years it expanded from just cookies to desserts and appetizers.

Berry Chocolate Mocha Mousse Dessert

Each year it is a special occasion when I see these friends. Therefore, in addition to the desserts, I make it a point to bring Gallo Family Vineyard’s Special Edition Holiday wines, including their delicious Holiday White Blend with hints of crisp green apple and sweet caramel. If you love Moscato wine, you will have to try this!

Gallo Holiday Wines

The second wine, their Holiday Red Blend, similar to Merlot, includes hints of juicy mixed berries and chocolate. With a festive label and gift tag, these Holiday Blends make a perfect holiday gift.

Berry Chocolate Mocha Mousse Dessert

My dessert for this year’s party is Berry Chocolate Mocha Mousse Cake with a dark chocolate brownie base, topped a layer of creamy chocolate mocha mousse followed by a layer of cranberry mousse, and then garnished with whipped cream and cranberries. It will pair well with the Gallo Family Blend Holiday Red Blend

For which special holiday occasion will you serve Berry Chocolate Mocha Mousse Cake and Gallo Family Vineyards Holiday Red Blend wine?
