This post brought to you by Silk. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Flavor Mosaic.

This Rocky Road Chocolate Smoothie is an easy, healthy, rich-tasting, chocolatey sweet treat that is perfect for a healthy breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack.

Rocky Road Chocolate Smoothie

On my continuous quest for easy, healthy, delicious foods that fill me up without weighing me down, I was so happy to discover Silk® Almondmilk. Actually, it was my Mother-in-Law who introduced it to me. She used it everyday in place of regular milk for her morning oatmeal or cereal, and drank a couple of glasses of it each day.

Rocky Road Chocolate Smoothie

I bought the Silk® Dark Chocolate Almondmilk and could not wait to make a smoothie with it. I wanted to add a little variation to a standard chocolate smoothie so I turned this into a Rocky Road Chocolate Smoothie by adding mini marshmallows and sliced almonds.  It tasted amazing!

ocky Road Chocolate Smoothie

The chooclate smoothie was smooth, rich, chocolately, and delicious, and since it uses the Silk® Dark Chocolate Almondmilk, I can feel good about drinking it.

Rocky Road Chocolate Smoothie

In addition to tasting delicious, it is nice to know that Silk® has the following benefits versus regular milk:

• 50% more calcium than dairy milk*

• Lactose-free

• Dairy-free

• Cholesterol-free

• No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives

• No high-fructose corn syrup

• Plant-based

• Silk Almondmilk is verified by the Non-GMO Project

• Responsibly produced

• Free of gluten, soy, casein, peanuts, egg and MSG

Silk® Almondmilk is one of the many drinks from Silk®, and you can choose from a variety of flavors. Try Silk® Vanilla Almondmilk, Silk® Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk, Silk® Original Almondmilk, Silk®, Unsweetened Original Almondmilk, Silk® Dark Chocolate Almondmilk, Silk® Light Vanilla Almondmilk or Silk® Light Original Almondmilk.

Silk dairy free beverages are a staple in this house. We love all of them. My son loves the dark chocolate. I’ll have to blend up this smoothie for him some time!

This is yummy looking! I have replaced my coffee creamer with vanilla almond milk recently to cut some dairy out of my diet. The kiddos would go crazy for a chocolate drink like this, they don’t need to know that it might actually be good for them!
