Happy 2021! It is finally here with all its hope and promise! We have a whole new perspective on the new year after 2020, don’t we! I wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year that hopefully, we can return to some semblance of normal.

With 2020 in our rearview mirror, I thought it would be fun to review the most popular Flavor Mosaic recipes in 2020. It was a year where people spent more time at home and more time cooking.

In addition, 2020 was a year full of uncertainty about the future. Therefore, I’m not surprised that the top 10 recipes were what many people consider comfort foods. If there was ever a time when people needed some comfort, it was in 2020.

Another trend in 2020 for Flavor Mosaic readers was an increase in Instant Pot recipes. With the popularity of Instant Pot pressure cookers increasing, the demand for recipes increases. I’m not surprised because the Instant Pot allows people to make one-pot meals in a fraction of the time as a slow cooker.

When you combine comfort foods with the Instant Pot, then you have a winning combination. It is always good when you can cook your favorite comfort foods faster than you ever thought possible.

Without further adieu, below are the Top 10 Recipes of 2020, based on reader viewership. I’ll start with number 10 and go to number 1. For each one, I’ll also share comments from some of our readers about what they liked about these recipes.
