Roasted Garlic Potato Wonton Cups are crunchy, creamy, garlicky and cheesy little bites of garlic mashed potatoes and wonton cups that are perfect for your Big Game party.
Go Big on Game Day with these Roasted Garlic Potato Wonton Cups!
We love football. My husband loves food and football so much that he dubbed himself the Gridiron Grub Guru. We are especially excited this year about the Big Game that because the Big Game will be played in our hometown this year.
The buzz around the city has already started. In downtown, new restaurants are opening up, and preview parties have started. The excitement keeps building.
While we may not be attending the game in person, we want to generate excitement for our own Game Day party at home! We want to have big flavor for the Big Game!
So we made these Roasted Garlic Potato Wonton Cups with Idaho Spuds because they have big flavor and are super easy to make.
One of the ways Idaho Spuds is generating excitement is by having an Idaho Spuds Game Day sweepstakes where you can choose your favorite Game Day recipe and get a chance to choose your own Boise adventure. How cool is that!
My recipe is Roasted Garlic Potato Wonton Cups. They are delicious yet so easy to make. All you have to do is place wonton wrappers in the mini muffin tins and bake for about 10 minutes.
The next step is to make Idaho Spuds Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes. All you have to do is boil water and then pour the water over the Idaho Spuds Mashed Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes in a large bowl. Stir together until the mashed potatoes are the right consistency.
Then all you have to do is spoon the mashed potatoes into each baked wonton cup. I find it easier to use a small scoop to do this.
Top the Roasted Garlic Potato Wonton Cups with chopped fresh chives and you have wonderful bite-sized appetizers with big flavor!
What will you serve with these Roasted Garlic Potato Wonton Cups!

I am big, big into football too and since my team is still in the dance…. I will be settling in to watch football on Sunday. These perfect little bites are a great snack to enjoy! Love the shortcut of using pre-made potatoes – smart AND delish!
