I found this delicious Pea and Parsley Pesto Linguine Pasta recipe on Yahoo! Food in an article by former Bon Appetit senior web editor, Julia Bainbridge, entitled “The Four Ps: Peas, Parsley, Parmesan, and Pasta.”

Pea and Parsley Pesto Pasta

The other night I was on Yahoo! Food looking for ideas for what to fix for dinner, and found this Pea and Parsley Pesto Linguine recipe that said “You want to cook tonight. You want it to be easy. With Cook This Tonight, we solve that problem for you.”  And I was like Yes. That is exactly what I want. And the recipe and photo in the article looked wonderful! They answered my question of What’s for dinner? And I loved how Julia kept the article light-hearted with the use of alliteration! The article was written when peas were in season but the recipe totally works with frozen peas too.  Yay!

Another great thing about this recipe is that it was not only delicious but was easy to make and budget friendly as well.  I already had all the ingredients I needed on hand. So no trip to the grocery store was necessary!

Pea and Parsley Pesto Pasta

I had my Pea and Parsley Pesto Pasta on the table in less than 30 minutes.  With frozen peas, walnuts, parmesan cheese, and parsley, you can quickly make a delicious pesto to go with the linguine (or in my case spaghetti.) Not only is Yahoo! Food a great site for looking for recipes for dinner, but they have gorgeous food photos and articles about top food trends, or best cooking tools, and new techniques, and everything to inspire you to cook.  Since Yahoo! Food partners with some of the best publishes in the business including Bon Appetit, Epicurious, Food52, Martha Stewart and many more, you get to benefit from their expertise and ideas as well.

How does Yahoo! Food do it? With a great team of people, of course, including Managing Editor, Sarah McColl; former Bon Appetit senior web editor, Julia Bainbridge; Rachel Tepper, who joined from Huffington Post Food; and Alex Van Buren, who has written for Bon Appetit, Gourmet, and Martha Stewart Living.
