This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Best Western. All opinions are 100% mine. THIS PROMOTION HAS EXPIRED.
You have no idea how much I am so looking forward to time off work during the holidays for some peace, quiet, tranquility, and relaxation, as well as travel to go visit family. No, that little guy in the picture above is not family, although he might bear a slight resemblance to……um…after second thought….never mind. I digress. Back to travel.
Like many of you, we are planning to travel for the holidays to see family. Ours is not a cross-country trip. Although we will be doing a road trip, driving to the Dallas area to visit some of our extended family members for the holidays.
In addition to getting together with all our family members for Christmas and dinners, etc., I want to visit the Dallas arboretum to see beautiful scenery, flowers, birds, and general peace and tranquility. By looking at these gorgeous pictures, you can see why. However, Mr. Flavor Mosaic, on the other hand, wants to go to the college bowl game. We may split up and do both, but that means we have to watch our pennies to afford both.
However, one thing Mr. Flavor Mosaic and I both agree on is that we will keep the peace among family members and not stay with them. Their house is already crowded, and we can maintain our (and their) sanity sense of peace, tranquility, and privacy by staying at a hotel.
Mr. Flavor Mosaic and I have been AAA members for years, and it has more than paid for itself over the years through travel discounts at hotels and for road assistance and battery assistance, which we have needed a handful times over the years. It provides real peace of mind when traveling.
When we were planning our trip, we discovered got a great deal at Best Western Promotion for AAA Members.

I love earning points and saving up to 20%. We like Best Western because of the great rates, spacious rooms, in-room microwave and refrigerator, and free internet, (You know I could not stay someplace without internet, and free makes it that much better!), and we earn additional AAA discounts when we participate in the Best Western Rewards. I’m excited because we may save enough money to be able to go to both the arboretum and the bowl game.

We both feel good knowing that AAA and CAA (Canadian Automobile Association) give 95 percent of Best Western hotels in the US and Canada a three-diamond rating. What is also convenient is that Best Western has three types of hotels– Best Western, Best Western Plus, and Best Western Premier – for different types of travelers. It makes it easy to find the right Best Western for your trip.
Be sure to visit Best Western Promotion for AAA Members to book your stay before the end of the year because staying anywhere other than Best Western is just for the birds. <grin> I couldn’t resist. <grin>

I loved this post. I think if you can stay in a hotel when visiting family it makes it nicer on everyone. Even you. You can sleep in without feeling guilt, and make messes. Great post!
