My favorite homemade holiday cookie is sugar cookies. They are easy to change up with flavored, colored icing or additional ingredients as toppings and of course, cut into many holiday shapes. These were the cookies that we all gathered in the kitchen to make when my children were all still at home…probably the main reason they are my fave!
