Caramel Brittle Popcorn Snack Mix
Caramel Brittle Popcorn Snack Mix is a delicious combination Planter’s Brittle Nut Medley with popcorn drizzled with a sweet and salty caramel sauce.

Caramel Brittle Popcorn Snack Mix

Each year the day after Thanksgiving, my sister and I turn on the holiday music and spend the day baking holiday treats for Christmas parties and to give away as gifts. It is a fun way to spend the day with family and create some family traditions.

This year Planter’s has their special collection of Holiday medleys including Winter Spiced Mix, Brittle Nut Medley, Holiday Nut Crunch, and the Holiday collection tin.  For this recipe I used the Brittle Nut Medley, which includes honey roasted peanuts, yogurt raisins, peanut brittle, pretzels and cashews.

It is so easy. I just added popped popcorn and drizzled the mixture with a homemade caramel sauce, and that was it. And it was a hit! It makes a wonderfully salty, sweet, and sticky treat.

Planter’s has such a variety of the Holiday medleys that you can mix and match to make a variety of combinations.

This year Planters has a fun new way for you to interact with their brand. It is an image recognition app called Blippar. It allows you to take a photo of anything and then it can superimpose a Planter’s image (such as Mr. Peanut) onto your image. Here’s an example.

You can even take pictures of yourself, or unsuspecting family, friends or pets with Mr. Peanut!

Download the Blippar app and head to Walmart to look for the Planter’s display that contains Planters seasonal offerings including the Holiday Collection Tin.  In my store it was located near the back by the packaged deli.
