Mr. Flavor Mosaic is excited! Why? Football season is starting! He is like a kid, even when it is only pre-season football. And what is a requirement for any football party? Hot Wings, of course!  This time I wanted to change it up a little and have General Tso’s Wings.

Saturday we were with my sister and her husband going through boxes in storage, trying to get everything out of this storage facility. This took longer than we thought. It was hot and humid with no air conditioning. We were planning to watch the pre-season football game tonight at my sister’s house. However, we were not going anywhere until after we went home and showered first.

By the time we got cleaned up and ready to go, there was no time to cook. So we swung by the Deli at Walmart to pick up some Deli Wings, specifically their General Tso’s Boneless Wings.

Picking up the General Tso’s Wings at the Walmart Deli was so convenient because they are precooked. So we can just buy them and head on to my sister’s house. These would be especially convenient for anyone heading to a tailgating party. I also like that we have a choice of purchasing a Pick 3 bucket, a plated meal, or wings by the pound. We bought them by the pound.  Be sure to stop by your local Walmart this weekend, August 29th – 31st, to see in store demos.

I can’t go to the party without having a dipping sauce for the General Tso’s wings. So I bought some Kraft Ranch Dressing at Walmart. It was easy to find on the grocery aisle with the other salad dressings.

Since I’m a recipe blogger I can’t go to the party without creating a recipe. So I made this super easy but delicious Sriracha Ranch Dipping Sauce.  Start by pouring the Kraft Ranch Dressing into a bowl.

Add Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce to the Kraft Ranch Dressing. You can add as much or as little as you like, depending on how spicy you like it. I added about a tablespoon.

Then stir until the Sriracha is mixed thoroughly in with the Kraft Ranch Dressing.

The result is a delicious creamy, spicy Sriracha Ranch Dipping Sauce that goes perfectly with the General Tso’s Wings.

Serve the Sriracha Ranch Dipping Sauce with a plate of General Tso’s Wings from Walmart Deli.

For a variation, try using my Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing instead of regular ranch dressing.

Ingredients

• 1 pound precooked General Tso's Boneless Wings from Walmart Deli
• 1/2 cup Kraft Ranch Dressing
• 1 tablespoon Asian Hot Chili Sauce such as Sriracha (adjust amount to taste)

Instructions 

• In a small bowl add 1/2 cup Kraft Ranch Dressing. Add in 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust more or less to taste). Stir until combined.
• Serve as a dipping sauce with the General Tso's Boneless Wings from Walmart Deli.
