Last week I had the opportunity to test drive the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited AWD. It was my first hybrid vehicle to drive and call me impressed! I’m impressed with the styling, comfort, fuel efficiency, and ride.
Look at how far the sunroof opens. It goes on forever! The passengers in the back seat get to enjoy the Sunroof as well in this Hyundai Sonata Hybrid AWD.
My first impression was how stylish this Hyundai Sonata Hybrid AWD Review was. I’m not sure what I expected, but this is one good looking vehicle. Look at those tires. This is a car you can be proud to drive.
After I got in, I noticed how spacious and roomy it was. It was probably a little wider than some other vehicles I have reviewed. The driver’s seat was very comfortable.
When I started it up, I wasn’t sure if it was running or not because it was amazingly quiet. That is because when it is idling, it will shift to the electrical battery instead of the gasoline engine. This allows it to save fuel and run extremely quiet.
One of the pleasant surprises for me was the powerful acceleration. Since this was the first Hybrid I have driven, I didn’t know what to expect. When I was told this was a 4-cylinder vehicle, I was not expecting much in the way of acceleration. Boy, was I wrong! This Hyundai Sonata Hybrid picks up and MOVES Baby! This feature alone was probably my favorite thing about the car.
For the week I was test driving the Sonata, I was doing mostly stop and go driving in town with a little highway driving. What was the result? 39 mpg! That is almost double the gas mileage of my current car. This is yet another reason that I am impressed with this 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited AWD.
The dashboard was well laid out, and it was easy to find all the features I needed, and it was loaded with features you could want, such as BlueTooth and cruise control.
Of course, it has the built-in navigation and dual A/C so the passenger and driver can each adjust the temperature so they are both comfortable. This feature allows my husband and me to go on road trips together without arguing over the AC!
Furthermore, the seats are heated and cooled!! Even the steering wheel is heated!
As an added safety feature the Sonata’s exterior door handles light up at night making for an easy entry. Of course, it also has the press button start.
Overall, the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited AWD was beyond my expectations with the style, comfort, features, fuel efficiency and quiet ride.
If you are in the market for a new vehicle, I highly recommend giving the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited AWD a look.
