On that note, it is now time for the Gridiron Grub guru to provide the gridiron analysis for this week.

I hope that everyone is enjoying a great Thanksgiving weekend. Between food, football, and family, this weekend so far has been a lot of fun.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies with spicy chipotle and and brown sugar

This holiday weekend is rivalry weekend in college football with great matchups that might determine the 2016 college football playoffs.

First, #1 Alabama is hosting #9 Auburn in the annual “Iron Bowl.” Auburn is looking for an upset but Alabama should prevail.

The key matchup this week is #2 Ohio State hosting #3 Michigan in Columbus, Ohio. Theirs might be the best game on the docket this weekend. The winner will solidify their playoff position.

The third game of interest is Florida State vs Florida. When these two perennial powerhouses get together their records do not matter.

In the pros, it appears that the Dallas Cowboys are still making strides toward the playoffs and a possible appearance in Houston in February for the Big Game.

With the Superbowl being here in our hometown of Houston in February, this delicious Bacon Wrapped Smokies recipe will definitely be on the menu.

In the meantime, we are serving these Bacon Wrapped Smokies {With Spicy Chipotle and Brown Sugar} for our holiday parties. Be sure to make extra because there will be no leftovers.

Until next week, I hope you enjoy good gridiron action, good tailgating, and good gridiron grub!
