We recently moved to San Antonio, Texas. One of the things I love about this city is that the people are so friendly. I knew that growing up here but moved away for many years.
I thought that this was just a bygone era. However, now that I have returned, I realize that people in San Antonio are still as friendly as ever, which makes me very happy.
If you walk down the street, people say hello or “howdy.”
When we were moving in, I had people volunteer to bring us dinner or go to the grocery store for us. Neighbors invited me to play bunco with them. We were also invited to a church potluck.
Since people have been so nice to us, I felt like I needed to be a good friend and serve a delicious pasta salad for the potluck. So I made this cool, creamy Texas Style Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad using Skinner Texas Shape pasta, the #1 pasta in Texas.
Isn’t this the cutest pasta you have ever seen! You can’t help but smile when you see these little bites of pasta in the shape of Texas!
I love cooking with local ingredients, and Skinner has made it more fun with its Texas Shape pasta. This Texas Style Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad is a perfect potluck dish for a friendly Texas get-together.
I like that Skinner pasta is not only great tasting, budget-friendly, and easy to cook, but it has earned the Non-GMO Project Verification on its most popular pasta products.
