BBQ Salsa Meatloaf is a tangy, slightly spicy meatloaf that kicks up Mom's meatloaf with some favorite flavors. Comfort food never tasted so good.

Meatloaf
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound italian sausage
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup prepared pico de gallo salsa drained
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire
- 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
- hot sauce to taste optional
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Glaze
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire
- hot sauce to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients for meatloaf. Form into a loaf.
In a small bowl, stir together all the ingredients for the glaze. Brush over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake in a loaf pan or on a foil covered baking sheet for about 45 minutes.
