Vegan Bacon Lettuce Tomato Sandwich (BLT)
This Vegan Bacon Lettuce Tomato (BLT) Sandwich, made with organic, all-natural, nonGMO Sweet Earth Vegan Benevolent Bacon, is easy, delicious and healthy.
- 1 5.5-ounce package Sweet Earth Vegan Benevolent Bacon
- 8 slices Vegan bread
- 8 lettuce leaves
- 2 small tomatoes sliced (I used sliced cherry tomatoes)
- Vegan mayonnaise
Use an electric skillet set to 375° F., and allow the skillet to heat completely and lightly oil with cooking oil. Do not use cooking spray.
Cook Benevolent Bacon for about 2-3 minutes per side, turning only once. While it cooks, occasionally check the underside and look for discoloration and a dryer overall appearance. The color will become a darker red and may even begin to have some dark brown/black spots or edges. Turn and repeat for the remaining side.
While the bacon is cooking, toast the bread.
Spread the Vegan mayonnaise on the toast and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and Sweet Earth Vegan Benevolent Bacon.
Cover with the second piece of toast.
