  • Place pork chops in the basket, making sure that there is space between each pork chop and they are not touching, and place in the air fryer.
  • Place the basket in the air fryer and set the temperature to 375°. Cook for 4 minutes, open the air fryer, flip the pork chops, and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer. Cook for an additional 2 minutes if needed.

Notes

  • Use a Meat Thermometer. The only way to truly know if the pork chops are fully cooked is to use a meat thermometer. When the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145 degrees F, then they are done.
  • Pan Fry. If you don’t have an air fryer you can still fry your pork chops in oil in a pan or bake them at 350F in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Cooking times will vary based on the cooking method and the thickness of the pork chops.
  • Don't Overdo Cooking Spray. You only need to spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray or a brush of olive oil. No need to overdo it.
  • Space Them Out. Spread the pork chops out on the air fryer basket with adequate space between them so that they can crisp evenly without overcrowding. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer basket and how many pork chops you intend to make.
  • Reheating Leftovers. Leftover stored air fryer pork chops should be reheated in the oven, covered with aluminum foil, to prevent them from drying out.
  • Flip. Flipping the pork chops halfway through the air frying cook time will ensure that you get a beautiful crispy crunch on both sides of the chops.
  • Don't Overcook. Remember that meat tends to cook very quickly in an air fryer. To keep the meat moist, be careful not to overcook it. Use the cook times of the recipe as a guide since every air fryer is a little different.
  • Use Meat Thermometer. If you aren’t sure whether the pork chops have cooked completely, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the chop to check for doneness. The temperature should register at 145F for it to be safe to eat.
  • Refrigerate. These pork chops can be prepared ahead of time by seasoning them in the morning and storing them in the refrigerator until ready to cook for dinner that evening.
