Ingredients

Meatball Crescents

  • 24 Frozen Cooked Meatballs thawed
  • 3 packages refrigerated crescent dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together all the ingredients for the Dr Pepper Barbecue sauce.
  • Thaw the frozen meatballs per the package directions. Place in a bowl.
  • Pour half the barbecue sauce over the meatballs and stir to ensure all the meatballs are covered with the sauce.
  • Roll out the crescent dough breaking along perforated lines.
  • In each crescent triangle, add a teaspoon of shredded cheese near the widest part of the triangle. Top with a meatball. Add a teaspoon of additional sauce, if needed.
  • Tuck the sides of the dough in around the meatball, and roll the meatball and dough toward the narrowest part of the triangle.
  • Place the meatball crescents on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes.
