My husband and I have been trying to cut back on salt in the past few years. Unfortunately many of the store-bought seasoning mixes such as cajun seasoning have a ton of salt in them.
Gradually I started making my own seasoning blends. After I tried it, I wondered why I had not done this years earlier.
It’s super fast. No more than 5 minutes.
Use spices you have in the pantry.
Adjust the amounts of each spice to just the way you like it. If you want a little more garlic powder, go for it.
Make it healthier by reducing or eliminating the salt.
Save money by making your own seasoning blends. No need to pay the extra money.
Step by step instructions. Wow! This is tough. Add all the spices into a small bowl and stir. There you go! Don’t forget to store in an airtight container. Phew! I’m exhausted from all that work…..NOT.
